Knights of Columbus honor Kendrick Castillo with posthumous membership

MINNEAPOLIS — The Knights of Columbus on Tuesday honored Kendrick Castillo, the student who was killed in May in the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting.

Castillo’s parents attended the annual Knights of Columbus convention in Minneapolis. Castillo received posthumous membership and the conferral of a major award in his name.

Castillo was killed in the shooting while protecting his peers at the school. Eight others were wounded.
