DENVER (KDVR) — Denver Police said a juvenile male was shot in a drive-by in the Clayton neighborhood Sunday morning.
The shooting happened in the 3300 block of Saint Paul Street around 11:30 a.m., the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the juvenile has non-life-threatening injuries.
Neighbors react to shooting
Residents in the Clayton neighborhood said they’re concerned about what this shooting could mean for the area.
One resident Matt Kamel said, “Anytime something like that happens in your neighborhood it’s concerning.” He continued, “This is my first time ever hearing about anything like that, we’ve been in this neighborhood for three years and we love it, so it’s unfortunate.”
Another neighbor, Adam Ludwicka, said, “I pulled up and I saw a bunch of cops in front of my house and didn’t really know what was going on. I called my landlord and said ‘do you know what’s going on?’ and he was like ‘I have no clue’ and then heard it was a drive-by shooting, it’s pretty crazy.”
No suspect information was provided. DPD is investigating the incident and FOX31 will post any new information when it’s received.
