All lanes of I-25 northbound reopen after fuel spill in Denver

DENVER — All lanes of northbound Interstate 25 have reopened after approximately 90 gallons of fuel spilled Monday afternoon.

Only one lane of northbound I-25 was open in the area of Orchard Road and Belleview Avenue while crews worked to clean up the highway.

The spill happened after a collision involving a tractor trailer and a ruptured fuel tank, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Monday – all lanes reopened around 2 p.m.

There were no injuries in the crash.
