Father Woody’s Christmas party celebrates with thousands in need

DENVER — A 35-year-old Christmas tradition continued in Denver on Sunday.

The Father Woody’s Christmas Party served about 3,000 people in need.

The tradition dates back to 1982 when Father Woody welcomed the homeless into his church and the event has taken off from there.
