ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night, the Colorado State Patrol said.
The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 76 at 88th Avenue.
The interstate was closed for the investigation and cleanup. It reopened by 10 p.m.

The driver of the 2004 Buick sedan stayed at the scene, and was not injured or impaired, the Colorado State Patrol said.
The pedestrian, a 67-year-old Denver man, was in the roadway when he was hit. Deputies don’t know why he was walking in the road.
