Eastbound I-70 near Floyd Hill, U.S. 6 in Clear Creek Canyon reopen after multiple crashes

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed on Monday night because of multiple vehicle crashes and spun-out cars, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.

Both directions of U.S. 6 in Clear Creek Canyon also were closed because of multiple slide-offs.

Both roads reopened several hours later.
