Eastbound I-70 reopened at El Rancho following serious crash involving semi

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 were closed at El Rancho due to a serious crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger car.

Police say the crash happened around 9:46 a.m. Wednesday.

There is no word on whether anyone was injured.

The interstate reopened about noon.

The cause of the crash has not been determined.
