AURORA, Colo— An Australian Shepherd that went missing after a serious crash in Aurora is back home safe.

On Thursday, the Facebook page Colorado Lost & Found Pets said that Dave was reunited with his owners.

Kenton Schminke was injured in a crash on E-470 and Pena Blvd. around 6:30 p.m. on June 12, according to a Facebook post from Colorado Lost & Found Pets.

Schminke is in an induced coma in the ICU, according to the post.
