COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Thomas Holleman Jr., 67, has been arrested in the homicide of two victims.

According to CCDP, Holleman has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and remains at Adams County Jail.

Neighbors tell FOX31 they heard two loud gunshots around 10:30 Friday night.

Police quickly entered the home with guns and shields, according to Lluvia Alvarado. CCDP reported Friday that they found two people dead.

“Out of nowhere just sirens, lights noise,” she says. “I heard a lot of running, so I came out to the front door and saw the commotion going on. Right after that they came out and put the yellow take around the whole house.”

Multiple neighbors tell FOX31 the woman who owns the home travels frequently for work, and rents out part of the home to Holleman Jr.

“Once in a while we would cross paths when they were walking their dog, but that’s about it,” says Lluvia Alvarado.

Alvarado says she watched Holleman Jr. being arrested late Friday night.

The Adams County coroners office has not yet released the names of the victims.
