Bear cubs rescued after mother killed in crash near Frisco

FRISCO, Colo. (KDVR) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers rescued a pair of bear cubs after their mother was killed in a crash on Interstate 70 near Frisco.

CPW said it took officers all night to find the cubs. Once they did, the tranquilized them so they could transfer them to a rehab center.

The cubs will be released into the wild this winter, according to CPW.
