Aurora police lift shelter in place, officers take suspect into custody peacefully

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — Aurora police officers were on an active scene in the 2500 block of South Halifax Way.

Officers were attempting to arrest a subject with an open felony warrant.

A shelter in place was issued for the area around 5 p.m., but Aurora police lifted the shelter in place just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The subject was taken into custody peacefully.
