One of 2 kids missing in Thornton found safe in Denver

THORNTON, Colo. — One of two boys reported missing since Monday night has been found, the Thornton Police Department said.

Daniel Romero, 13, was found safe in Denver on Tuesday, but 12-year-old Ronnie Hernandez is still missing.

Hernandez is described as being 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white stripes and dark pants.

The two were last seen near West 84th Avenue and Interstate 25 about 7 p.m. Monday.

Police said say neither boy had a coat or shoes.
