2 dead in semitruck vs. pickup crash in Windsor

WINDSOR, Colo. — Two men were killed in a crash involving a semitruck and a pickup truck in Windsor Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Eastman Park Drive and Great Western Drive/Weld County Road 23.

Greeley residents Heriberto Leyva-Camacho, 63, and Eudocio Vazquez-Ruiz, 34, were in the semitruck. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital but is expected to survive.

The name of the truck driver was not released.

The crash remains under investigation.

Weld County Road 23 was closed north of Eastman Park Drive.
