DENVER (KDVR) — One person is dead after a shooting Saturday in southwest Denver.

Denver Police tweeted about a shooting in the 3000 block of South Sheridan Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. and said the extent of injuries was unknown.

Sunday afternoon, police said the victim died and there is a male suspect in custody for second-degree murder.
