MORRISON, Colo -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said Friday that rapper Schoolboy Q was in the vehicle that was shot at -- but was not one of the victims -- during a shooting after a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Thursday night.

Brandon Gonzalez posted on Facebook that his best friend Brandon West was shot while "saving School Boy Q's life."

Gonzalez then posted another photo of West, who is seen flipping his middle finger at the camera with the comment "Dear School Boy're welcome."

Three people were injured and they drove from the famed venue to West Sixth Avenue and Kalamath Street in Denver. One of the three who was shot has been released from the hospital.
