Adams County deputy shoots man while serving arrest warrant

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — An Adams County deputy shot a man inside a home Friday morning as they were serving an arrest warrant.

According to an Adams County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, the shooting happened at a home at 8510 Corona Street.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the spokesperson. The deputy was not injured.

Investigators from the FBI also responded to the scene.

It’s not yet clear what the arrest warrant regarded.
