DENVER — Gov. John Hickenlooper is on his way back to Colorado to monitor the growing High Park Fire.

Hickenlooper was scheduled to attend the Western Governor’s Association meetings just outside Seattle through Tuesday, but is scheduled to fly back to Colorado Monday afternoon and planning to head up to the fire line by early evening.

Hickenlooper had already delayed his flight to Seattle, which had been scheduled for Sunday morning, in order to go up to the fire.
