DENVER — A new vending machine dispensing edible marijuana products is now making purchases at medical marijuana shops much easier. The ZaZZZ is located at Doctor’s Orders on W. 38th Avenue and Navajo, and is stocked with gummies, suckers, and cookies of all types.

“We think this is like the self-service line at the grocery store,” said developer Stephen Shearin. “Our hope is that in time we will be able to sell flower marijuana bags in the machines as well.”

Currently, only those 18 and over with their MMJ Red Card may purchase edibles. For now, the machines take cash and Bitcoins but no credit cards, until the feds allow for the industry to put their monies in bank accounts.

“Certain times of the day/week, the clinic is jammed, so having the option of buying from the ZaZZZ is a way to put off waiting in long lines,” said customer David Powell.

The ZaZZZ is just the start of things to come in the industry, as technology catches up with the natural way to medicate.
