DENVER — Non-GMO; Gluten-Free; Paleo Friendly; these are all buzz words in the health industry. With so many people now focused on buying local and knowing the ingredients in their food, a niche was born.
It’s all about choices. At this year’s Evolve Expo, there are plenty to choose from.
Kay Dragon is attending the expo.
“The body healing, also the oils, it’s just a wholeness in the healing world,” Dragon said.
There are food samples, cooking demos, alternative health care, international speakers and hundreds of vendors showcasing lots of local products and ideas.
“The Denver Boulder area is a hot bed for natural foods and new products and incubating new companies,” said Alan Lewis, a spokesman for Natural Grocers.
It’s about living consciously, whether you’re an expert on holistic lifestyle or a busy mom looking for alternative choices.
“It’s stressful in this day in age trying to get everything in each day. So, to know there’s a go-to food that’s got pretty much everything you need for nutrition, it takes a lot of the stress off,” said Ali Brody with Kolat Superfood Fusions.
Lewis says one of the best parts of the expo is that you get the chance to meet the business owners and entrepreneurs that are making a difference in the industry.
“The people behind the booths, for the most part, are the people who conceived the product and have their heart and soul in it,” Brody said.
“Our mission is to spread vibrant health, so the more people that taste it and fall in love with it, the happier we are,” she said.
