DENVER -- March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and colon cancer is the second leading cancer killer in America.

More numbers: It is the leading killer of nonsmokers. 140,000 people are diagnosed each year and it kills 50,000.

However, it is also the most preventable, treatable and beatable -- if you catch it early enough.
