DENVER -- Union station has been coined "Denver's Living Room" - and now the "living room" is all decorated for the holiday season.

The second annual Grand Illumination took place on a frigid Friday night, but that didn't stop hundreds from gathering for the ceremony.

"It's really a beacon for downtown Denver that has been standing here for so many years," one visitor said. "Now it's revitalized, so it just brings so much energy to the area."

"It definitely gets us in the Christmas spirit!" said one father with his family.

Santa Claus will visit union station over several weekends before Christmas. See the schedule here.
