CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — Meadows Parkway was closed near the Outlets at Castle Rock on Tuesday morning because of a gas line break.

Meadows was closed between Interstate 25 and U.S. 85 and the southbound Interstate 25 exit to Meadows Parkway/Founders Parkway was also closed.

The Colorado Department of Transportation warned of “major traffic jams” throughout the morning, but the line was repaired quicker than anticipated, and the off-ramp and Meadows reopened about 8:45 a.m.
