Ft. Collins police investigate criminal mischief to parked cars

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Police said they are investigating a series of incidents that involved suspects damaging the exterior of parked vehicles in Fort Collins.

The incidents happened between the beginning of January and end of February during the hours of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekend nights, according to the Fort Collins Police Services.

Most of the affected vehicles were parked overnight on a public street, said police. Additionally, in most cases, the cars only sustained exterior damage and were not broken into.

Police have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects.
