DENVER -- Four people were taken to a hospital after a Jeep crashed into a tree early Thursday morning.

The crash happened at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Krameria Street about 3:45 a.m., the Denver Police Department said.

Two of the passengers suffered serious injuries, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
