DENVER — Forbes has named Denver the “Best Place for Business and Careers” for the second year in a row.

Forbes compared more than 400 metropolitan statistical areas and divisions in the U.S.

“Denver nabbed the top spot for the second straight year thanks to its diverse economy, growth outlook and educated workforce,” Forbes said.

Forbes said Denver is a hot destination for millennials seeking a good work-life balance.

After Denver, the top cities were Provo, Utah; Raleigh, N.C.; Seattle; and Portland, Ore.

Utah had two other cities in the top eight: Salt Lake City and Ogden.

According to Forbes, the worst place for business and careers is Atlantic City, N.J., followed by Huntington, W.Va.; Brownsville, Texas; Flint, Mich.; and Reading, Pa.
