BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder County fire crews halted a small brush fire Sunday afternoon near Nederland, according to the National Forest Service.

The three-acre blaze was reported about 3:30 p.m. on Forest Service land about 9 miles up Sugarloaf Road in Boulder County.

The fire was extinguished about 5 p.m., according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. No structures were threatened.
