GOLDEN, Colo. — Several fire departments, including Fairmount West Metro Fire Rescue, worked to put out a fire burning near the Coors brewery in Golden on Thursday.
The fire started about 4 p.m. and flare-ups were still seen at 9:30 p.m.

West Metro Fire also said 32nd Avenue from McIntyre to Castle Rock Road will be closed overnight and most of the day Friday.

The fire burned 100 acres about two miles west of West 32nd Avenue and McIntyre Street, according to officials.
South Table Mountain Park was closed for firefighting operations, according to Jefferson County Open Space.
No evacuations were ordered and no structures were threatened late Thursday night.
