Police looking for stabber in attack that shut down Federal

DENVER — Federal Boulevard has reopened after a domestic violence incident left one person in the hospital Friday afternoon.

The incident happened at West 26th Avenue in Denver’s Jefferson Park neighborhood, according to a tweet from the Denver Police Department.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is listed as stable, police said.

The stabber is still at large.  Police have not released a description of a suspect.

Police closed both directions of Federal for about an hour while they investigated. It was reopened around 1:30 p.m.

Police said the stabbing is related to a domestic violence incident.
