DENVER — Police are looking for a man they believe has committed at least four bank robberies in the Denver metro area.

The so-called “Good Grammar Bandit” — named for his demand notes typed with proper spelling and grammar — is described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 5’9” to 6’0” in height, with a slender build, the FBI said in a statement.

Police believe the suspect has robbed TCF Banks in Broomfield and Northglenn, and Chase Banks in Westminster and Thornton since April 2, according to a media release.

The subject enters the bank, presents a demand note and flees on foot, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171.
