Evergreen firefighters save two dogs from house fire

EVERGREEN, Colo. – Firefighters saved two dogs and a home after a house fire broke out about 10:30 a.m.

The blaze, in the 6000 block of Deer Path, led to road closures in the area, the Evergreen Fire Department said. Some 25 firefighters and eight trucks responded and were able to contain the fire.

Two dogs were rescued from the home, EFD said via Twitter.

An investigation was underway.
