MANDAN, N.D. — A 37-year-old Denver woman has been arrested and charged with attempted murder at the Dakota Access Pipeline Protest, KFYR reports.
Officials said Redfawn Fallis fired three shots at officers while authorities were trying to arrest her during the protests on Thursday.
According to a court affidavit, Fallis pulled a gun and shot at officers multiple times. Officials said after a brief struggle, officers were able to get the gun out of her hand and handcuff her.
Fallis also admitted to having a small amount of marijuana and brass knuckles.
Fallis has also been charged with preventing arrest, carrying a concealed firearm or weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
