No serious injuries after Denver school bus crash

DENVER – A school bus was involved in a three-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon, the Denver Police Department said.

The crash happened at West 39th Avenue and Fox Street.

Police said five students on the bus and a driver of another vehicle were hospitalized, but the injuries do not appear to be serious. The students were released from the hospital Friday night.

The bus was coming from Denver Montessori Junior and Senior High School.

The accident happened when two vehicles collided in the intersection and one of the cars struck the bus, police said.

Ambulances, firetrucks and police were at the scene blocking the road. There were no other injuries.
