DENVER — Denver Police have found an elderly woman who had gone missing.
Police say Lee Wheadlon, 83, has dementia and was last seen in the area of West Alameda Avenue and Cherokee Street.
She was last seen wearing a light blue-gray short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
About 7:30 a.m., Denver Police said on Twitter that Wheadlon was found safe in an apartment building in the 200 block of South Cherokee Street.
UPDATE missing woman from 590 W Cedar Ave has been found safe in an apartment bldg. She is being checked by medical personnel now.
