DENVER — A 26-year-old Denver man has been charged with stalking his girlfriend, vandalizing her car and posting nude photos of her on the Internet, the District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

Michael Clasen faces two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of stalking, posting an image for harassment and possession of an illegal weapon, said DA spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough.

Clasen is accused of stalking his 19-year-old girlfriend in late June after she broke up with him.

Kimbrough said Clasen damaged both her vehicle and her mother’s vehicle.

He’s also accused of posting intimate photos of the victim on the Internet on July 1, she said.

Colorado lawmakers made so called “revenge porn” illegal last session. It’s a misdemeanor with fines up to $10,000.

Clasen was arrested last Sunday and remains in custody in the Denver Detention Center on a $50,000 bond. He is schedule to appear in court on July 11.
