DENVER — One person was injured in a fire at an auto body shop Thursday night.

The fire broke out at 24 Hour Automotive at East 46th Avenue and Josephine Street near Interstate 70.

The Denver Fire Department initially tweeted that one person had died, but a spokeswoman later said that information was incorrect.

Firefighters did pull out one person from the building who was transported to a hospital.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was also at the scene. That’s routine whenever Denver fire investigators are sent out.

The fire didn’t have any impact on traffic in nearby roads during the Friday morning rush hour.
