DENVER — A Denver man is accused of causing serious injuries to his 10-week-old daughter, the Denver District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.
Shane Stringfellow, 27, is charged with three counts of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.
The infant was brought to Children’s Hospital Colorado on Monday with numerous injuries, including a broken leg, rib fractures, and injuries to her tongue and tonsils, the district attorney’s office said.
Stringfellow is accused of causing the injuries from the time the girl was born on Oct. 1 to Monday. He has been released on a $50,000 bond.
He is due in Denver County court Jan. 17 for his second advisement.
