Police investigate deadly shooting near 35th and Downing

DENVER -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting at North Downing Street and 35th Street in Denver early Wednesday morning.

Officers have crime scene tape around the Conoco gas station. A tent was set up over the body of the victim.

Police believe the shots were fired two blocks away at 35th and Walnut Street, near the Tracks night club.

Police are talking to multiple witnesses.

Streets were closed in the area of Downing and 35th until around 11:30 a.m.

The gas station was also closed while police investigated.
