Customers aid CO Springs pharmacist after man pulls out her hair

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A Colorado Springs man was arrested after police say he attacked a pharmacist Tuesday night.

According to KRDO, the assault took place at an Albertson’s in northeast Colorado Springs.

Police say Nicholas Jones was at the store with his mother and got upset with the pharmacist for an unknown reason. He began cursing at her and calling her names before leaving the store.

Police say Jones came back, jumped over the counter and began assaulting the pharmacist.

Two customers jumped over the counter and stopped the attack. They held Jones down until police arrived.

The pharmacist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police say Jones pulled out a large amount of her hair, and that he was served a summons for third degree assault and was released.
