BOULDER — University of Colorado Boulder police are investigating a possible sex assault they said happened early Saturday morning.

A female student notified police Saturday evening of the assault she said took place at approximately 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

The woman told officers she was walking back to her residence hall from the Hill with two of her friends when she became separated from them near the Center For Community on campus.

The girl said she started walking with three males she didn’t know and told police the next thing she remembers was waking up partially clothed.

Two females helped the woman get back to her residence hall at about 2 a.m., according to CU police.

Officers are not sure whether a sexual assault took place.

Any witnesses who might have information about the incident are asked to contact the University of Colorado Police Department at (303) 492-6666.
