DENVER — The ramp from northbound Interstate 25 to eastbound Interstate 76 was reopened about 2:30 p.m. Friday after a deadly crash shut it down Thursday afternoon.
The Colorado State Patrol said the closure was because of a collision between a semitruck and an SUV about 12:45 p.m.
The driver of the SUV, an elderly man, died in the accident.
No information has been released regarding the driver’s name and age. The driver of the semitruck has not been identified.

Investigators did not provide any details about the crash. Parts of I-70 were closed in high country Thursday afternoon, also because of crashes.
The Colorado State Patrol was enforcing chain and traction laws for portions of the interstate.
