LONGMONT, Colo. — Boulder County Sheriff deputies discovered the body of 31-year-old Longmont resident Jessica Shackleford in the 13000 block of 87th Street April 14.

After an autopsy and further investigation, the cause of death has been identified as hypothermia and the manner of death is determined to be accidental, said Boulder County coroner Emma R. Hall.

Shackleford was reported missing April 13.

Investigators said she left her home in Longmont on foot at about 8 p.m. on April 12 after an argument with her husband.

She had left her purse and cell phone at home. But her driver’s license and debit card were missing from the purse. The card was last used at Pizza Hut at 2255 Main St.

Her body was found a little more than three miles from her home.
