COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A Catholic priest in Colorado Springs surrendered to authorities Tuesday on charges of sexually assaulting a child.
Rev. Robert Charles Manning is being held in the El Paso County Jail in connection with an Oct. 17, 2011 incident.
Details of the allegations were not released.
Bond was set at $10,000.
Manning retired from St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Colorado Springs after the allegations first surfaced in January.
