COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. —  A family was terrorized in their home and Colorado Springs police are searching for four men who they say did it.

Police say men busted through the door and into the victims’ home in a trailer park in the 3200 block of South Academy Boulevard.

“I never thought I would have gone through this with my family,” one of the victims told KRDO.

“I heard a big bang and two men were already on top of me, guns pointing at my head, face down on the couch and one guy was punching my husband,” the woman said. “He is parapalegic so he is in a wheelchair and they kept punching him in the face and threw him off his chair to the floor.

“They went to my kids’ bedrooms, first my daughter’s.  They woke her up with a gun at her head. And then to my son’s bedroom. They punched him in the face.”

The woman said the men pistol-whipped her, and took money and cellphones. They were gone within five minutes.

“It’s scary. There are so many things going through your head at that time,” the woman said. “But at the same time, you can’t do nothing with four men in your house with guns.”

The woman believes the men knew her. She said the attackers made sure to never let her see their eyes.
