Colorado snowfall adds up with impressive numbers

DENVER — An arctic blast that swept Colorado Friday on night left residents digging out on Saturday.

Among the more notable accumulations, Denver International Airport received 9 inches of snow, Aspen reported receiving nearly 1 1/2 feet and Steamboat Springs received 7 inches. Colorado Springs only saw 3 inches.

Loveland Ski Area received 15 inches of new snow, giving it 23 inches in the past 72 hours.
