COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A man was stabbed to death Friday morning after he reportedly interrupted an apparent burglary.

Shortly after 9 a.m., police responded to the Park Ridge apartments located at 2618 W. Serendipity Circle, just off of Academy Blvd. to find a deceased man who had been stabbed in an apparent homicide.

Investigators said the victim was 46-year-old Gregory Martin, a maintenance worker at the apartment complex.

According to officers, Martin interrupted the suspect during an apparent burglary when he was confronted by the man.

Citizen alert reports led police to arrest Isaiah Ramon Jackson, who is a resident at the apartment complex. Jackson has been charged with first degree murder and first degree burglary.
