DENVER — Colorado’s best high-school football teams battled for state championship titles on Saturday.

Here’s what happened:

  • 5A: Cherry Creek clinched the title against Columbine, 35-10
  • 4A: Pine Creek bested Broomfield, 34-3
  • 3A: Palmer Ridge defeated Pueblo South, 35-13
