Chauncey Billups bringing L.A. Clippers teammates to basketball camp

PARKER, Colo. — Local kids have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with NBA stars while working on their basketball basics.

Hometown favorite Chauncey Billups will hold his annual basketball camp in Parker in June, and he’s bringing Los Angeles Clippers teammate Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

Griffin has taken the NBA by storm being name NBA rookie of the year (2010), named to the USA Olympic team, and led the Clippers in scoring the last three years. Teammate DeAndre Jordan and Griffin have been the reason why the L.A. Clippers are named LOB City for their spectacular dunks.

The Chauncey Billups Basketball Academy will be held from June 24 to 27 at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr. Players ages 6 to 10 meet 9 a.m. to noon and ages 11 to 17 meet from 1 to 4 p.m.

Each camper receives a camp T-shirt, a basketball, one personally autographed item from Chauncey Billups, Blake Griffin, and Deandre Jordan! There will be a nine to one camper to coach ratio. This amazing camp is offered at the low price of $250 dollars per player.
