FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A sedan collided into the front of a quick-service restaurant in Fort Collins Tuesday afternoon.

The Fort Collins Police Service said it was notified of a crash at the Jason’s Deli located at 1538 E. Harmony Rd. shortly before 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers arrived on scene to find that a 1997 Buick sedan had driven into the front windows of the restaurant.

Police said the driver of the Buick, 80-year-old John O’Neil of Fort Collins, was unconscious and taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies for treatment.

Investigators said they do not believe speed or alcohol contributed to the accident — they are working to determine if O’Neil suffered from any medical conditions.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Fort Collins Police at 970-221-6555.
