Building fire near Mullen High School sends two to hospital

DENVER — Two people were hospitalized after a fire broke out at an apartment on Tuesday near Mullen High School, the Denver Fire Department said.

There reportedly were three people inside the apartment complex at 3601 S. Lowell Blvd., but fire crews got them out safely.

The private residence is on Mullen High School property.

The conditions of the two people taken to the hospital have not been released.
