GOLDEN, Colo. -- Political memorabilia has always been very collectable, but a shirt that showed up in Golden Thursday might be one for the ages, if you are a Denver Broncos fan.

“I just had to have this one,” said Gil Lucero. “I love the Broncos and Obama is my man.”

The tailgate on 10th Street was just like a tailgate party at Mile High Stadium except there was no food, just buttons, hats and tees. The most sought after shirt: the one with Bucko the Bronco on the front, with Obama’s name above it.

Steve Pinon says, “We put an ad on Craig’s List looking for Americans who want to make money to feed their families. They are hungry so they work hard selling the swag we sell—swag that is all made in America—we are helping feed hungry families.”

We saw the top seller of 2008, the Hope and Change tee, and any number of others from the President’s first run, but the one most coveted today… one that put Obama and the Broncos together.

We can only assume that since we didn’t see any NFL approved stickers on the shirts they might be ‘bootlegged’ which didn’t seem to stop Democratic supporters of the President from picking up the collectable tee.

Pinon says it’s not about Obama they also sell Romney gear when he is in the metro area as well, for his team, it is all about just making a buck off election 2012!
